Kevin Costner reprises his role as patriarch John Dutton in the newest season of Taylor Sheridan’s smash western just as he is ready to be sworn in as governor of Montana.
In addition, regulars like Kayce (Luke Grimes), Beth (Kelly Reilly), Jamie (Wes Bentley), Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser), and Chief Thomas Rainwater (Thomas Rainwater) are also present (Gil Birmingham).

Yellowstone Season 5 Episode 1 Release Date
On Sunday, November 13th, Yellowstone will air on the Paramount Network, marking the return of the Duttons to the network. In the middle of February, Paramount Network announced that Season 5 would be split into two parts. And Yellowstone season 5 episodes 1 & 2 will be released on 13th November 2022.
Yellowstone Season 5 Episode 1 & 2 Preview
Yellowstone is the only original scripted series airing on the Paramount Network. This show has become a rating phenomenon, with an astounding 11 million weekly average viewers across broadcast, cable, and premium in 2021.
So it shouldn’t be a surprise that Paramount has already renewed the show for a fifth season and promoted two of the show’s guest performers, Jen Landon (Teeter) and Kathryn Kelly (Emily), to series regular status.
The revamped network (previously known as Spike TV) debuted the contemporary Western in 2018 and immediately struck a chord with viewers. The Dutton family of Montana has several challenges as they manage the largest continuous cow ranch in the United States.
John Dutton takes the oath of office as governor of Montana, promising to defend the state “against all enemies—foreign and domestic,” as the camera turns to a few of his primary political opponents. The subsequent “battle” and anarchy are depicted in a montage.
