At the renowned 44th award event, which was presented by the Agaram Foundation and the Sivakumar Education and Charitable Trust, the legendary actor Sivakumar was spotted in attendance, together with his gifted sons Suriya and Karthi.

Together, the foundations are committed to fulfilling their mission of making educational opportunities accessible to disadvantaged children across the state of Tamil Nadu.

Since 1973, Sivakumar has been honoring those students in the 12th grade who achieve outstanding performance on their standardized tests via his unwavering dedication to the cause.

Suriya and Karthi’s organizations were founded so that they could contribute to the education of children from disadvantaged backgrounds, just like their late father had done before them.

Actor Suriya took advantage of the opportunity to interact with the press and provide some interesting remarks as the event was taking place. He remarked that there had been a change to the felicitation criteria.

Prior to this, recognition was given to the students who had achieved the top scores in the plus-two tests.

However, the criteria have since been broadened so as to not only include students who have achieved a high level of success, but also those who come from disadvantaged families or who originate from rural and distant places.

He went on to clarify that continued efforts are being made to cooperate with the local people and solve the difficulties of student enrolment and dropout rates in a total of thirty schools.

Suriya gave sound counsel when she addressed the topic of dealing with negativity by telling people not to place a great deal of emphasis on unfavorable remarks.

He underlined that focusing on the negative for an extended period of time is a waste of both time and energy, and he advised people to instead look forward and concentrate on the positive.
