The actress Mouni Roy Nambiar is not just one of the most beautiful actresses of the current times but she is also counted among the most talented actresses. She started her career from TV and then slowly she made her presence felt in Bollywood as well.

However, her journey is also full of ups and downs and she has faced many challenges in her career. The actress firmly believes that there is no shortcut to hard work. During the trailer launch of web series, Showtime, Mouni Roy revealed that she was insulted by someone from the industry who went on to say that she doesn’t have what it takes to be an actress. She said, “I have heard insulting lines. I have been told that I would never make it to the industry and that I wouldn’t be able to act. Someone told me, ‘You don’t have what it takes to become a Bollywood actor’.”

For Mouni, Bollywood is a difficult industry to work in but it is also a fair industry. She said, “There is a struggle that you cannot deny, there are no shortcuts that you can take. Work begets work. When you are focused on your job, sooner or later you will land that next (big) role. That’s my mantra.”
