Sonu Nigam is one of the most loved singers of the Indian film industry despite the fact that he doesn’t sing songs in movies nowadays.

Sonu is one of those very few Bollywood celebs who don’t hesitate in speaking their hearts out and recently he talked about the problems that singers face in the industry. One of these issues is that they are replaced very easily and there is no respect for their talent. He is also not happy with the actors like SRK as they don’t fight for singers.

In a recent interview, Sonu took Shah Rukh’s name while talking about injustice meted out to singers. He said, “I don’t think actors fight or interfere with singers in their films. If that were the case, I would still be singing for Shah Rukh Khan. They (actors) think this is the composer’s or director’s department. The best they can do is give their preference. But they don’t fight for anyone.”

Sonu Nigam also talked about the song, Chiggy Wiggy from Akshay Kumar starrer Blue which also starred Sanjay Dutt, Lara Dutta, Katrina Kaif, etc.

He said, “Chiggy Wiggy bohot hi bekaar gana hai (Chiggy Wiggy is a very bad song). I don’t like the song at all. I don’t know why Rahman made such a bad song. I mean, how can they get Kylie Minogue on board and make such a bad song? I felt good that he thought about me for the song, but with Kylie Minogue, the standards could have been increased.”
