The incidents of PDA (public display of affection) are getting quite normal in the Delhi Metro and what is more disturbing is the fact that people are indulging in lewd behaviour despite the warning given by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC).

A video is going viral on the Internet in which a couple is seen hugging each other tightly and they are also kissing each other. However, the other commuters remain unaffected with this behaviour of the couple which implies that such things have become pretty common nowadays. The faces of the couple have been blurred but the couple can be seen getting cozy with each other while standing near automated doors of the Delhi Metro.

The incident is said to have taken place at Anand Vihar and the online user took a jibe at such people by writing in caption, “Another emotional video of Anand Vihar #delhimetro (OYO). Maybe we have forgotten that love is blind, people are not.”

Earlier, due to repeated occurrences of such incidents, DMRC issued a statement which read, “DMRC expects its commuters to behave responsibly while using the Delhi Metro and follow all social etiquette and protocols which are acceptable in the society. Commuters should not indulge in any indecent/obscene activity that may cause discomfort or could offend the sensibilities of other fellow commuters. DMRC’s Operations & Maintenance Act, in fact, lists out indecency as a punishable offence under Section-59.”
