Indian actor Vijay Deverakonda’s last release Liger was a big flop and he must be hoping that his next release Kushi gets love and affection from the audiences. Kushi stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the female lead, it is directed by Shiva Nirvana and is slated to release on 1 September 2023.

 After Liger fell flat at the box-office, Vijay was also slammed for his attitude and controversial statements that he made during the promotions and this time while promoting Kushi, Vijay said something which made fans of superstar Rajinikanth very unhappy.

During an event, Vijay Deverakonda said that few flop movies by superstars like Rajinikanth and Chiranjeevi won’t have an effect on their stardom. In his words, “Superstars are beyond hits and flops. Rajini sir can have 6 flops back-to-back and come and do a film like ‘Jailer’ which does 500 crores. We just have to shut up and watch.”

He further said, “He (Chiranjeevi) can also give back-to-back Flops, but if he meets a director with the right energy, he will come back with a sensation, just like he did with Sankranti. Chiru sir changed the industry. When he came, the kind of action that was there, the kind of dance that was there, and the kind of performance that was there, all changed entirely. He inspired many people to enter the industry.”

Now, the statement regarding Rajinikanth has made some of his fans angry because they are not able to understand when their superstar gave 6 back-to-back flops.
