It's finally here... Sherwin-Williams just unveiled its 2023 Color Of the Year, Redend Point SW 9081

We have all been eagerly anticipating the 2023 Sherwin-Williams color of the year (COTY) and have been rewarded with the reveal today.
Sue Wadden, who is the director of color marketing at Sherwin-Williams, says the color choice of Redend Point is in line with a continued trend toward warmer neutrals. "We're seeing a greater interest in earthy elements and inviting hues like warmer whites, beiges and browns," she says. "Redend Point SW 9081 is a nourishing hue that we hope will inspire people to think about neutrals differently and realize how a warm, versatile, blush-beige color can easily coordinate and enhance other hues and décor in any space."

"Minimal yet Cozy, this color creates a comforting backdrop for the everyday moments that matter."
“It’s a great option [that] plays well with other neutrals,” Wadden explains. “If you put it next to beige, Redend Point really looks like a color. But on its own, you see that it really does act like a neutral, so it’s well-behaved.”
Wadden recommends pairing Redent Point with neutrals that are grounding, such as Urbane Bronze and Foothills, or tonal clays, like Hushed Auburn and Malted Milk.
