What Ingredients do I need to make these Biscoff overnight oats?

You can say that the ingredients for the Biscoff overnight oats can be divided into three different groups: the oats base, the topping and the garnish. Let’s see together what we need for each part.

For the oats base, you will need some of your favourite rolled oats, and you can use gluten free oats here if you prefer. Then you will need some cinnamon powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract and milk of your choice. We have opted for some plant-based milk but any of your choice here will work. And should you wish to avoid milk altogether, you can use water to soak your oats instead. Think about using almond milk and bringing this to a whole different level! Also, add some chia seeds and replace maple syrup with brown sugar to get a very delicious and healthy breakfast on the go.

For the Biscoff cream topping you will need Biscoff spread and Greek yoghurt: once again, pick your favourite brand of Greek yoghurt because it will make all the difference.

And lastly, you will need ingredients for the garnish: while this is optional, I recommend you do add it as it adds that extra scrumptiousness you really need to kick the morning off. For that, you will need some extra Biscoff spread and a cookie or two to crumble on top.

How do I make these Biscoff overnight oats?

There is nothing easier than making these Biscoff overnight oats, as it’s literally a drop, mix, refrigerate and serve. But let’s see the process together.

Firstly, in a bowl, you will add the rolled oats, cinnamon, maple syrup, oat milk and vanilla extract and mix well. Move this into a glass container with a lid and set it aside.

In a smaller bowl, stir the Biscoff spread and Greek yoghurt and layer it on top, then seal it with the lid and place it in the fridge for at least 4 hours, or even overnight. This will help the flavour to develop fully.

When you’re ready to serve, add a layer of Biscoff spread and crumbled cookie on top. It’s such a delicious breakfast, you really need to do yourself a favour and prepare it immediately!
