George Noory’s Career and Achievements

Newscaster Noory started his radio career at Detroit’s WCAR-AM. He eventually became a news producer and executive news producer at WJBK-TV in Detroit, KMSP-TV in Minneapolis, and KSDK-TV in St. Louis. His TV news work earned him three local Emmys.

Noory founded Norcom Entertainment, Inc. in St. Louis to make police enforcement and security video training videos. His late-night KTRS show Nighthawk drew the attention of Premiere Radio Networks officials, syndicators of Coast to Coast AM.

Coast to Coast AM, an American late-night radio discussion program, usually discusses paranormal or conspiracy beliefs. Noory guest hosted Coast to Coast AM in April 2001 before replacing Ian Punnett as Sunday night anchor. After Art Bell retired in January 2003, Noory became Coast to Coast AM’s nightly host.

His program has included former President Jimmy Carter, astronaut Edgar Mitchell, scientist Michio Kaku, novelist Whitley Strieber, psychic Sylvia Browne, and director James Cameron. His live events and special programs include Ghost to Ghost AM, Prediction Night, and New Year’s Eve Predictions.

Gaiam TV debuted Beyond Belief with George Noory, a subscription webcast on the universe’s secrets, in December 2012.

Premiere Networks announced in July 2019 that Noory has extended her Coast to Coast AM contract for many years. Noory added, “I want to thank the incredible team at Premiere and my amazing show staff who have been with me since this remarkable journey started.”
