The Ekiti Youth Parliament has showered praises on Otunba Dolamu, Commissioner for Special Duties and Regional Integration, Ekiti State.

This was done after a courtesy visit to the Commissioner.

According to a statement by the speaker of the Parliament, Toba Fatunla, the commissioner has displayed rare commitment to Youth development.

He said: “Today we visited the commissioner where we applauded his unwavering commitment to youth development and recognized Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji’s youth-focused and friendly administration.

The Ekiti Youth Parliament leadership called for synergy and partnership with Ekiti Youth as co-developmental partners in advancing Ekiti development, saying, without the youths, there is no future.

“The Ekiti Youth Parliament expressed their appreciation for Commissioner Dolamu’s instrumental role in advancing youth-related programs right from the first democratic governance in Ekiti State and for his continuous support of initiatives aimed at enhancing the welfare and development of young people in Ekiti State.

Commissioner Otunba Dolamu had affirmed that Governor Oyebanji’s administration is fully committed to creating an environment where the youth can thrive.

The visit to Commissioner Otunba Dolamu serves as a testament to the government’s dedication to youth empowerment and engagement and also the readiness of the Ekiti Youth to play a vital role in governance in Ekiti State.
