Nigerians ‘ll experience economic reforms, others, Akpabio promises

The Senate President of the 10th House, Senator Godswill Akpabio, has said as the new House Leader, Nigerians will experience reforms in religious, political, economic, social, and cultural aspects of their lives.

Akpabio stated this in his goodwill message during the 23rd Synod/Congress of Abuja Province of the African Church, recently.

Akpabio’s goodwill message was delivered by Senator Asuquo Ekpeyong and obtained from the official Twitter handle of the Nigeria Senate President @SPNigeria.

He said, “God willing and with renewed zeal a commitment, we shall begin to see progress in religious, political, economic, social, and cultural aspects of our lives.

“I feel highly honoured and humbled that I am today in a position to support our President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in building the Nigeria of our collective dreams.” He said.

Also speaking at the service is the Archbishop of Abuja Metropolitan Province, Most Reverend Dr Peter Ogunmuyiwa, who said, “The emergence of Senator Godswill Akpabio as the President of the Senate has doused religious tension in the country.”

He also said, “When I met President Tinubu before his election, he promised me that he would ensure that a Christian emerged the Senate President having had a Muslim as the President and Vice President, respectively.”
