Lenny Hochstein and Katharina Mazepa are officially engaged

Lenny Hochstein and Katharina Mazepa took a milestone step in their relationship.

Katharina took to Instagram on Saturday, July 29, to share the happy news that she and Lenny have gotten an engagement.

She shared a series of pictures from their romantic proposal along with a caption,

“On top of an ancient pirate cave, overlooking the sunset over breathtaking Es Vedrá, he asked to steal me away forever.”

Lenny is seen beaming with his fiancée in the first picture of the collection, holding her close while Katharina placed her hand on his chest flaunting her stunning ring.

In the photo, the soon-to-be bride looked stunning in a white ruffled mini dress. Lenny, on the other hand, donned khaki shorts and sneakers with a white button-up shirt.

Similarly, the slideshow that followed included a video of the 57-year-old plastic surgeon getting down on one knee on a beachfront cliff amidst a romantic backdrop of the sunset and sailboats in the water.

The moment the video stopped while zooming in on the sunset, the Austrian model said “yes” and leaped into her fiance’s arms.

Additionally, the close-up shot of the engagement ring is shown up in the last photo of the post.

Besides Mazapa’s manager, Louisa Warwick also issued a statement to Page Six confirming her engagement to Lenny Hochestein.

“We are delighted to announce the engagement of a truly extraordinary couple, Katharina and Lenny. Their love story has blossomed into a beautiful union, filled with passion, understanding and unwavering commitment. As they embark on this journey together, we extend our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for their future filled with love, light & happiness.”

The engagement news comes over a year after the pair began dating.

In the same announcement in which he announced his divorce from his estranged wife, Lisa Hochstein, Lenny Hochstein confirmed his relationship with his now-fiancee Katharina public in May 2022.

Lisa and Lenny Hochstein are still in the midst of their tumultuous divorce.

As per court documents obtained by Page Six, their final hearing was held on Thursday, July 27, and it is expected that the pair have signed off on the agreement.

However, the outcome of their final hearing has still to be revealed.

The former couple tied the knot in October 2009 and shared two children a son Logan, 8, and a daughter Elle, 4.

In April 2023, a judge ordered Lenny to pay his estranged wife $8,000 per month in temporary support.

This came along after Lisa consistently accused Lenny of not providing her with enough financial support to take care of their children during the divorce battle.

How did Lisa Hochstein respond to her estranged husband’s engagement with Katharina Mazepa?

As soon as Katharina and Lenny Hochstein’s engagement was made known to the public, many were quick to pour an outpouring of love and blessing for the couple.

Lisa also congratulated the couple via Instagram post while mocking Lenny by reminding him that she is still his wife. She wrote on her Instagram story,

“Congrats to my current husband and his mistress on their engagement.”

In addition, she responded in a second Instagram story to her mother-in-law, Marina Hochstein, who mocked her while congratulating her son on his new engagement.

As Marina commented on Mazepa’s engagement post earlier in the day, writing,

“I will be very happy that this time you are getting a woman who love and respect you. You certainly did not have that in your previous marriage. Good luck congratulations.”

Lisa, for her part, wrote next to a screenshot of Marina’s comment,

“What a wonderful mother in law and grandmother. How disgusting,”

Lisa had received initial support from her mother-in-law following their breakup. In season five of RHOM, Marina even criticized her son.

After the season aired, the 41-year-old reality star stated that Marina later supported her son after initially siding with her.

In December 2022 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, she said,

“She definitely was on my side in the beginning, Today, you know, it’s her only son, so she’s more on his side, and it’s expected.”
