Congratulations to Sohla El-Waylly who is expecting her first child with her husband Ham El-Waylly.
The American chef, 39, announced on TikTok that she is pregnant in a now-viral TikTok video she posted on her account.

She started the video by saying,
“My biggest pregnancy craving has been childhood cereals,”
The pregnant star hilariously said,
“So I had Lucky Charms for the first time as an adult and I realized that my entire life, my sister has been picking out the marshmallows,”
“I was blown away at how many marshmallows are in a bowl. I thought that you just get one marshmallow. And they are amazing.”
As the camera panned to show a huge bag of Lucky Charms marshmallows, Sohla said,
“So I decided to treat myself to my own all marshmallows,”
“You know, to like make up for all those years of never getting enough marshmallows. So now I have my own bag of marshmallows that no one can take away from me.”

Sohla hinted at her pregnancy with a series of Instagram posts
Sohla El-Waylly hinted at her pregnancy earlier this month when she posted a series of photos on Instagram.
The first picture showed El-Waylly holding up a strawberry while one of her dogs looks at the fruit.
Another showed her holding a snack plate in front of her dog who puts on a pleading face.
Many fans noticed that the series also featured the chef’s baby bump which is accentuated by a black tank top and black biker shorts as she smiles at the camera surrounded by numerous bags of groceries.
Sohla El-Waylly often features her husband Ham on her Instagram and hosts a cooking show for the New York Times Cooking YouTube. In the channel, she most recently made dinner and dessert together with tajín.
In April, she shared a photo of herself and her spouse where she shared with her fans their secret to a perfect date night.
She captioned the photo,
“My recipe for magic: Date nights in with Ham + amu’s brown butter parathas, and an ice-cold @cocacola,”
The snap showed Sohla El-Waylly rolling out the dough while her husband looks lovingly at her and uses a spatula to flip the bread.
Ham and Sohla live in New York and first met while attending the Culinary Institute of America.
