Mcmurtry Speirling does that, and it is an electric car with Fans out in the back, which sounds like a jet engine when started. McMurtry Speirling is the Fastest Accelerating Car on the planet that achieves these numbers. It is developed by a new automotive company McMurtry founded in 2016 and based out in the UK.

McMurtry Spéirling

The body of this car is fully carbon fibre, and you only get one seat. This helps reduce the car’s weight, which is around 1000 Kg. It has 2 electric motors on the rear axle that makes this car RWD (Rear Wheel Drive). Mcmurtry puts out 1000 HP. That makes a little over 1HP/Kilo. McMurtry Spéirling can do 0-186 miles in 9 secs.

This car has 2 fans at the back that can generate 2 tons of downforce from a standstill. Unlike in other hypercars where you need to get to high speeds to get maximum downforce. Achieving a high speed in a hypercar is not something everyone can do, certainly in this aspect McMurtry Speirling succeeds.

The battery capacity is 60 kW and has a claimed range of 300 miles on road or something fun on track for 20-30 mins.

The dimensions of this car are 2 meters long and 1.5 meters wide.

They are soon going to launch a road-legal version of McMurtry Speirling. Currently, they have a track-focused.

McMurtry set a few records in June it achieved a time of 39.08s in HILLCLIMB RECORD at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. And recently Carwow journalist Matt Watson has set the record for the quickest 0-60 time of 1.4s and 7.9s quarter mile.
