The American statement referred to “the continuing threat posed by the Quds Force and its network to the Americans and the region,” through “a series of missile and drone attacks,” describing the matter as a sharp escalation against the Americans in Iraq and Syria in the wake of the attack launched by the Islamic Resistance Movement (agitation) on Israel on October 7, in reference to Al-Aqsa flood.

Department spokesman Matthew Miller added, “The United States remains committed to identifying and taking action against individuals and groups who abuse their local economies and engage in illegal activities that support terrorist groups that destabilize the region.”
