A hotel in Mecca announced the opening of the highest suspended Prayer Hall in the world, Wednesday, January 17, 2024, which is located at an altitude of 483 meters above sea level.

The prayer hall located at the Address – Jabal Omar Hotel enjoys panoramic views of the holy sites, including the Grand Mosque and the Holy Kaaba.

The weight of the prayer hall is 650 tons, and its steel bridge was first assembled at a height of 312 meters above sea level before it was raised to the final level, connecting the hotel’s twin towers on the 36th, 37th and 38th floors.

The prayer hall can accommodate about 520 people within a large area of ​​550 square metres. It also has interior décor that combines ancient Arabic designs with modern touches. The phrases written in Arabic calligraphy add more solemnity to its atmosphere, including the Most Beautiful Names of God.

The prayer hall is located within the bridge that connects the two hotel towers, at an altitude of about 179 meters above the level of the hotel’s internal road.

It is noteworthy that the “Address – Jabal Omar” hotel opened in early 2024, and it is considered the largest of the “Address” hotels and resorts and the tallest building in the Jabal Omar area in Makkah.
