Trinny Woodall, the British fashion and beauty expert, has revealed that she first decided to have Botox at the age of 35 due to her insecurity about her forehead, which she described as looking like a second mouth. In an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com, Trinny shared that she now gets Botox injections twice a year. She explained that she was introduced to Botox more than 20 years ago and found it to be a clever solution to stop her forehead from moving on television. Trinny, known for her role on the UK version of What Not To Wear, admitted that Botox prevented the formation of forehead lines. However, she expressed confidence that her daughter, Lyla, who is turning 20 soon, is not considering Botox yet. Trinny praised her daughter’s sense of self and stated that she is fundamentally different from her at the same age. While reflecting on her own experience, Trinny confessed that she disliked her twenties and felt relieved when she entered her thirties. In 2017, Trinny launched Trinny London, a beauty and skincare brand targeting women over the age of 35, as she felt they were not well catered for in the market. Trinny expressed her desire to help women know and love themselves sooner. She believes that it is a generational issue where women feel they do not have the right to prioritize self-care, but she considers it a privilege to be able to do so. As she approaches her sixties, Trinny plans to celebrate her sixtieth birthday with a walking holiday involving a close-knit group of friends, ideally in Bhutan, to have quality conversations and enjoy an adventurous trip together.
