Sir Michael Caine, the veteran British actor, aged 90, has officially announced his retirement from acting. Confirming his decision, he stated that “you don’t have leading men at 90.” After a long and successful career spanning seven decades, with over 180 movie appearances, Sir Michael explained that he had reached a point where he didn’t think he could top his previous achievements. He recently starred in his final film, The Great Escaper, which was released just prior to his retirement announcement. Throughout his illustrious career, Sir Michael has won prestigious awards such as the Oscar, Golden Globe, and Bafta, and has starred in iconic films like Zulu, The Italian Job, Interstellar, and The Dark Knight franchise.
