‘Captivating the Fans’ Hearts: Adorable 3-Month-Old Giant Panda Twins Unveiled at South Korean Zoo’

Two adorable Giant Panda Twins have been unveiled to the public after their birth in July. After a public naming process, the pandas have been named Rui Bao (‘wise treasure’) and Hui Bao (‘shining treasure’). The twins, who have already gained a following on YouTube, are winning fans around the world. Born at Everland Theme Park in South Korea, the pandas have a healthy weight of over 5 kilograms and are expected to be available for public viewing in the New Year. Their parents were gifted to the park by Chinese president Xi Jinping in 2016. The pandas’ older sibling, Fu Bao, was the first giant panda to be naturally bred in Korea.

Since their birth, the zoo has posted multiple videos of the pandas on its YouTube channel, garnering millions of views. The twins have been teething and crawling, according to zookeeper Kang Chul-won. Fans expressed their delight on social media, hoping for the twins to grow up wise and bright. Giant pandas have long been a symbol of China’s soft diplomacy, with their presence often accompanying major trade deals and diplomatic initiatives. While Beijing loans pandas to foreign zoos, any offspring born abroad must eventually return to China’s breeding program.
