A driver who caused the death of pregnant Hollyoaks star Frankie Jules-Hough in a motorway crash has had his prison sentence increased. Adil Iqbal, 22, filmed himself driving at high speeds before losing control and crashing into Jules-Hough’s vehicle. The original sentence of 12 years was deemed lenient, and three appeal judges in London have now increased it to 15 years. Jules-Hough, who was 17 weeks pregnant, suffered fatal brain injuries in the crash. Her partner, Calvin Buckley, expressed his disappointment with the original sentence and welcomed the increase. Iqbal had a previous conviction for driving without insurance and had been warned for racing on public roads prior to the crash.
