It’s going to be the first real chilly night of the season. It’s going to be around 50 degrees at 7 p.m. kickoff time, but wind could play a factor.
Latest prep football rankings
The first RPI rankings of the high school football season arrived this week, which take into account a team’s record, the record of its opponents and the record of its opponents’ opponents. The output is a single number — the higher, the better — which will be used, along with geographic considerations, to determine postseason assignments.
Those rankings will be used for classes 5A, 4A and 3A. Classes 2A all the way to 8-player will go by a rankings committee. Click here to read more about the committee and about the RPI process.
