WWE CEO Vince McMahon underwent surgery last week on his spine, according to a report.
The 77-year-old is said to have had a procedure to fix an issue with a spine that lasted over four hours, according to TMZ.
The surgery reportedly was successful and the wrestling chief is now recovering at home.
McMahon resigned as the company’s CEO and chairman last year after being accused of sexual misconduct.
But the 77-year-old returned to the WWE in January as the executive chairman to oversee their sale to the UFC’s parent company Endeavor in April.

The allegations levelled at him included raping a female referee, which he has always denied, and paying other female employees hush money to cover up affairs, but he insisted that he was retiring from the business he built due to his age.
McMahon insisted he would not be ‘in the weeds’ when it came to making creative decisions moving forward.
However, he was backstage at WrestleMania 39 in early April, and then made major changes to the first RAW after the WWE’s flagship event.
It was revealed in May that the merged company of WWE and UFC will be called New Whale Inc, after a SEC filing was made for the name.
The new deal, which is seen as a landmark moment in the industry, was announced at the start of April, just a day after WWE hosted WrestleMania 39 in California.
It sees Endeavour hold a 51 per cent stake in the combined company, while WWE shareholders hold 49 per cent, according to the agreement.
