Rather than heating the water itself and thus requiring electricity, the Tushy Spa has a hose that connects to your sink’s hot water inlet. This makes the water as hot as your water heater can supply. If that’s too hot, you can adjust the knob to mix it with your toilet’s water inlet, cooling it down.
