One man who attended the game that saw LeBron James set a new NBA career scoring record is selling his Ticket for thousands.

A ticket for the game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Oklahoma City Thunder that saw James score his 38,388th point.

That was enough to pass Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the most points in a single career in NBA history.

James hit a fadeaway 2-point jump shot late in the third quarter of that game to pass Abdul-Jabbar – who was in the audience as it all went down.

A ticket from that game is currently on sale at Heritage Auctions – and has already garnered significant bids.

The mint condition Ticket Stub currently has a bid of $2,100 placed upon it

James hit the record-shattering shot against Oklahoma City back in February

He passed the mark previously held by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar since he retired in 1989

The ticket stub – which has a face value of $92, as reported by TMZ – has already generated a bid of $2,100. Including a buyer’s premium, that price sits at $2,520.

This ticket was for the sixth seat in row two of section 209 – not a bad place to watch some history being made.

As for the stub itself, it’s been graded at a 9 – meaning it’s in mint condition.

Memorabilia surrounding this night will probably go for a premium – and has been tapped to do so for a while.

Chris Ivy, the director of sports auctions for Heritage Auctions, told TMZ back in February that James’ game-worn jersey from that night could fetch $3million if it ever hit the auction block.

Bids on the ticket stub are open until next week.
