Winnie Harlow wows in an eye-catching orange hooded gown alongside boyfriend Kyle Kuzma

Winnie Harlow put on a loved-up display with her NBA star boyfriend Kyle Kuzma at the White House Correspondents Dinner at the DC Hilton Hotel on Saturday evening.

The model, 28, showed off her impeccable style in an eye-catching Orange Hooded Gown.

The Canadian star, who has skin condition vitiligo, boosted her height in a pair of matching heels.

Winnie opted for a glam makeup look with a swipe of nude lipstick, while styling her raven tresses in a bun.

Meanwhile, Kyle cut a dapper figure in a black blazer and trousers, teamed with a crisp white shirt.

The dinner is an annual fundraising event held by the White House Correspondents’ Association to raise money for journalism scholarships.

It brings together journalists, politicians and celebrities under one roof for a rare night away from politics where the well-heeled can let their hair down.

For years, comedians have poked fun at political leaders and journalists alike at the Correspondents’ dinner. Previous hosts have included Conan O’Brien, Jimmy Kimmel and Seth Meyers.

Every president since Calvin Coolidge had attended the WHCA’s annual dinner with the exception of Trump.

It comes after Winnie recently explained how she and her boyfriend Kyle, 27, make their relationship work, in spite of both having busy careers.

The pair have been dating since March 2020.

In a recent interview on the Dhar and Jay Show Podcast, she said:’I’m very busy and he’s very busy. I think because we both come from that type of life, it’s a little easier, but there are still conflicts in it, because with his career, there is a lot more structure.

‘So when the NBA schedule come out, I know where he’s going to be for the next year. So it’s more adjusting to where I’m going to be… there is not structure.’

She then added in her best British accent, ‘When you love someone, you just make it work.’

In a recent interview with Women’s Health Magazine, the star, whose real name is Chantelle Whitney Brown-Young, revealed the inspiration behind being known by name Winnie.

She also touched on dealing with rejection in the industry and how she has managed to storm her way to the top of the industry despite battles.

‘I got a lot of nos along the way, but I just pushed through,’ explained the covergirl, who suffers from skin condition vitiligo.

She gained prominence in 2014 as a contestant on the 21st cycle of the U.S. television series America’s Next Top Model.

But before being known as top model Winnie, the star was born Chantelle and decided to come up with a nickname for her Facebook profile as a teenager.

Drawing on her love for Winnie the Pooh and Marilyn Monroe, whose inspiration was Jean Harlow, she came up with her now iconic moniker.

But it wasn’t a breeze getting to where she is, with the star telling Women’s Health: ‘My younger self always believed in the power of faith, strength, and perseverance, while learning vulnerability and being authentically myself.

Adding: ‘I got a lot of nos along the way, but I just pushed through. To achieve my goals with the world watching has been scary at times, but all in all, the ultimate blessing.’
