Seville, Mar 13 (.).- The Junta de Andalucía launched this week the first issue of public debt of 2023 for an amount of 600 million euros, with a term of ten years at 3.95%, and whose disbursement will be will take place next Thursday.

This is the fourth issue of Sustainable Bonds in the autonomous community, which was approved in March 2021 and has so far allowed the issuance of a joint amount of 2,600 million euros.

This issuance has been entrusted to entities Santander Bank (BME:), BBVA (BME:), CaixaBank (BME:), Credit Agricole (EPA:), HSBC and ING (AS:), the Ministry of Economy and Finance reported in a statement, explaining that the ten-year term will allow us to continue “flattening the portfolio’s maturity profile and extending the average life of debt, making it more sustainable”.

This new issue of sustainable bonds inaugurates the financing program of the Junta de Andalucía in the markets for 2023, a program that will also include, together with other public or private issues, the agreement of bilateral loan operations with supranational financial entities and institutions such as the European Investment Bank or the Council of Europe Development Bank.

In a context of international instability and volatility in financial markets, the spread of the issue over the Treasury fell several points from that initially announced, finally standing at 29 basis points, well below the maximum authorized under financial prudence regulations. , which stands at 50.

More than 50 accounts of 11 different nationalities have participated in the issues of public debt of the Junta de Andalucía, highlighting among them, in addition to the Spanish, those of Italy or the Netherlands, along with others such as those of Portugal, Luxembourg, Germany , Austria, Switzerland, France, the United Kingdom or Israel.
