The Tax Administration Service (SAT) reported that in “El Buen Fin 2022” transactions were reported, with credit or debit cards, for 61,453 million pesos to participate in the Good End 2022 Draw.

Andrea Hernández, general administrator of taxpayer services of the SAT, mentioned during the draw protocol that from November 18 to 21, the four days that the “Good End 2022” lasted, total transactions for 61,453 million pesos were reported; in addition to the delivery of 326,249 prizes for a total bag of 500 million pesos.

The SAT official explained that for the Good End Draw 2022, 104,143 businesses were registered, of which 16,040 were validated to participate. In addition, 53 banking institutions met the requirements to participate in the raffle.

“In said stores we have a record of 37.7 million cardholder transactions, of which 18.5 million will be taken into account for the draw. In this tenth edition of the draw, the delivery of up to 326,249 prizes is expected with a total purse of 500 million pesos,” said Hernández at the SAT central office.

People who bought a product with a value of 250 to 15,000 pesos during the four days of “”El Buen Fin 2022” with participating credit or debit cards will be able to win prizes, which will range from 250 to 250,000 pesos. The bag is 400 million pesos.

While for businesses, the jackpot is 260,000 pesos and, in addition, prizes of 20,000 pesos are expected to be awarded to 4,987 businesses. The total bag for this sector is 100 million pesos.

They still do not reveal the spill

In the draw protocol, the Ministry of Economy (SE) and the SAT did not report how much economic spillage was left by “El Buen Fin 2022”.

“We are waiting for SE and the SAT to provide them (the figures). In fact, they are finishing making the adjustments. They were doing the analysis (…) they have to do an analysis regarding the economic trend,” Octavio de la Torre, treasurer of the Confederation of National Chambers of Commerce, told the media and estimates that during the sales they were for 195,000 million pesos.
