One of the largest private investments of this six-year term will take place in Sinaloa: the fertilizer plant located in Topolobampo, in the municipality of Ahome. On the other hand, the state government seeks to offer facilities for the Tetakawi company to settle in Mazatlan, dedicated to the manufacture of components for the automotive and aerospace industry.

Industrialization of agricultural products

The also former senator of the Republic explained that during the strongest stage of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Sinaloan economic sector He practically continued working, especially since the main generators of wealth in the entity are the agricultural, fishing and livestock industries.

In this sense, he stressed that one objective is to add value to these industries, through the industrialization of their products. He gave as an example that this entity produces around six million tons of corn annually. What he needs is to transform them into flour to market them with that added value.

The same is thought for the industrialization of mangoes and other agricultural products. This, together with greater dynamism in other sectors such as the assembly and manufacture of parts for the aerospace and automotive industries, will allow for increased wealth generation in that state in the northwest of the country.

The governor mentioned that in the south of the entity is the construction of the santa maria damwhich will have a hydroelectric power station and an irrigation system to benefit the mango, eggplant, cucumber, tomato and chili production areas for export.

In addition, another irrigation system is under construction in the picachos damwhich will also have a hydroelectric plant, as well as an aqueduct to supply 11 communities in Concordia, which will meet the area’s ancestral demand for a regular supply of drinking water.

On the other hand, Rocha Moya He mentioned that they are working together with the federal government to make the construction of the Badiraguato, Sinaloa-Guadalupe y Calvo, Chihuahua highway a reality, which has a physical progress of 97%, since there are only 13 kilometers left to connect the two by land states, which will be completed by December of this year, as well as the San Ignacio-Tayoltita highway, which connects Sinaloa with Durango.
