uliacán, Sinaloa, November 04, 2022.- As part of the search to improve the monetary income of people with permanent disabilities, Governor Rubén Rocha Moya delivered the Pension Cards for the Welfare of people with disabilities, to which he called as his most human and important work of his first year in office, a program that the Government of Sinaloa raises in tandem with the Federal Government and that is part of the construction of a welfare state together with the other programs that are being applied for the people.

“My greatest work is having been able to give a pension together with the Federal Government to all people with disabilities in Sinaloa, that for me is the most, nothing to build the so-and-so street, that I made the theater, that I made the theme park, no . This is human work, more important because we are building in the 4T a welfare state with all those programs as Carlos Torres already said here, ”he said.

He stressed that he is proud that Sinaloa is the first state to provide this help to everyone, since he clarified that it will be a universal support, which means that no person with a permanent disability will be excluded from the program.

In this sense, the state president invited all the people to inform those who are not yet within this program so that they can join and receive this help from the government.

For his part, the coordinator of the Federal Welfare Programs, Carlos Torres Rosas, mentioned that these programs are an act of social justice for people with permanent disabilities and their families, and also stressed that they allow inequality to be reduced to improve living conditions. life for a sector of the population that had historically been relegated.

He reported that this pension consists of 2,800 pesos every two months and an effective payment of 4 bimonthly periods will be made, which would add up to a total of 11,200 pesos.

He clarified that the pension that is being given to people with permanent disabilities is a constitutional right, so it cannot be removed in future governments and its budget cannot be reduced either.

“Lastly, I would like to tell you that this pension that we are giving you today is a constitutional right, that means that whoever reaches the government will not be able to reverse it and they will not be able to reduce the budget, on the contrary, year after year they will have to increase the budget and this pension is guaranteed, rest assured that every day we work for the welfare of the people and we are here to serve you”, he added.

Also present at this event were the delegate of Programs for the Welfare of the State of Sinaloa Omar Alejandro López Campos, the secretary of Municipal Welfare Aline Krystabel Guerra García on behalf of the mayor of Culiacán Juan de Dios Gámez Mendívil, in addition to the representatives of the people with permanent disability José Luis Samaniego Molina and María Elena Coronado Solano.
