• CFE Basic Services Provider reported that it serves more than 47 million customers, with an annual growth of 1.9%.

With the participation of the directors and permanent guests, the topics planned for the sixteenth Ordinary Session of the Board of Directors of CFE Supplier of Basic Services (SSB), chaired by the general director of the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE), were addressed. Manuel Bartlett Diaz.

José Martín Mendoza Hernández, general director of the Subsidiary Productive Company (EPS) CFE SSB, presented the performance report for the second quarter of 2022. He highlighted the increase in clients: to date, a little more than 47 million are served, which represents an annual growth of 1.9%.

The director of the EPS gave a broad overview of the company as of June 2022:

• 191 thousand 018 million pesos of income from the sale of electricity.
• 41.93 million customers in the domestic sector.
• 201 thousand 132 million pesos invoiced as of June 2022.
• 101,846 GWh of total electrical energy consumption.
• 53,565 GWh of sales in the medium and large industry sector.

As of the second quarter of 2022, CFE SSB has the following operating capabilities:

• 1,266 service channels.
• 2,214 windows.
• 2,673 CFEmatists.

The president of the Council and general director of the CFE, Manuel Bartlett, asked the EPS for forceful actions to continue with the recovery of overdue portfolio and attack the debts due to social problems, the agricultural sector, state and municipal debts, which affect the finances of all the company. SSB’s EPS has managed to cover and have a correct management to mitigate and assume operating expenses, he commented.
