DVD Audio Extractor is a cross-platform software solution for extracting the media content from DVDs with just a few clicks.

Besides providing support for DVDs, you can also use DVD Audio Extractor to rip Blu-ray disks. The audio and video content can be saved as WAV, FLAC, MP3 or OGG.

Another important feature is the ability to demux audio streams to the following formats: MP3, MPA, MLP, PCM and DTS-CD.

With DVD Audio Extractor, the process of ripping a DVD consists of 4 steps. In the first step, you can open the target DVD and select which media files you want to rip. In the next step, you can select the output format, choose the sample rate and channels, and select either VBR or ABR.

After the second step, you can set the output location and customize the name format. Finally, the last screen allows you to set the thread priority and start the extraction process. A progress bar will also show you the encoding status.

Audio Extractor also comes with a built-in media player that you can use to preview your video / audio and decide which ones you want to extract.

If the audio or video files in the original DVD don’t include metadata (such as genre, artist, year or album), you can add them manually in the first step of the ripping process.
