Often the editing is the stuff professional wedding photographers do whilst not photographing wedding receptions, so it’s quite a big part of the employment and I thought I would show this recent shot I bought and go through some of the ways to get it looking by domain flipping wanted it to.

They have worth noting this can be worn out in any room with a tiny bit of light coming through the Microsoft windows but if you have a big outstanding church to capture it might have a very bit more impact! Colour Temperature

I then fine-tuned the temperature of the impression using the white balance slider, again in the developing element. I love my images to search nice and warm so I provided this one from the camera’s realistic cool estimate of 3800K to a much more pleasing 5000K

Noise Reduction

I then have some noise reduction in LR. The church looked nice and bright but to get this I put to go to ISO3200 which just isn’t ideal really so I needed to get rid of a bit of the disturbance. This again is in the acquire panel under ‘detail’ alone with the amounts will vary depending on what exactly camera and ISO amount you use. I have some presets set up so it’s just a scenario of clicking on the appropriate just one (there are loads of disturbance reduction presets for LR out there or you can go ahead and protect your own. Same really to get sharpening, which you can auto-employ when you import your FRESH files.
