Do you want to make your home cozier, and cooler? Did you know that you can easily boost your home with a nice lightning gadget? In this article, I?m reviewing some gadgets that I came across on AliExpress. Let?s see what I found!

Let?s renovate!

You might know that currently, I?m really into renovating. Not long ago, I renovated my backyard, then I also changed the interior of my home by painting the walls in the living room. I decided not to stop, so I wanted something new. I?ve seen many amazing room ideas with cool led lights and other lighting equipment, so I wanted to find something like that. One of my favorite places to buy home decorations is AliExpress.

What's AliExpress?

It?s an enormous online store where you can buy anything. What?s very great about AliExpress is that you can find all this stuff at a very low price. However, shipping may take some time, especially when there?s a pandemic around. Some products have free shipping, others don?t. Also, shipping costs depend on what type of delivery you choose. Free shipping takes more time, but I think that?s obvious. AliExpress has such a huge offer of products that I can spend hours browsing its catalog. There are some big categories like fashion, phone & telecommunication, consumer electronics, jewelry, pet & appliances, bags & shoes, toys, outdoor fun, beauty, automobiles, and home improvement tools. They also offer new user coupons, and occasionally there?s a sale as well.

Here?s what I found

While browsing for hours, I came across some cool stuff that I could use for improving my home. I searched for keywords like the home decoration, led lights, lights decoration, and mood lighting. I had a super-hard time while I tried to decide which gadgets to order. Eventually, I made up my mind. I selected two brands, and I ordered ten items altogether.

The two brands

Coolo

Coolo designs lightning gadgets with a reasonable amount of brightness to protect the customers? eyes. They advertise themselves and their products as suitable for home and hotel lighting as well. They offer plenty of lightning products. You can find Led panel lights and led tubes as well.

Gleco

Gleco is a brand, specializing in high-quality, green, and energy-efficient lighting products. They offer both indoor and outdoor lights. Indoor lights include LED strips, LED bar lights, LED modules, LED bulbs, Ceiling lights, cabinet lights, night lights, and deck lights. Outdoor lighting consists of solar lights, deco lights, and deck lights.

So, eventually, I ordered?

ten items from the two brands.

LED strip light for PC case

I ordered this item from Coolo. They provide two options: there?s a 1-meter strip with 30 LEDs or a 1-meter strip with 60 LEDs. The one with 30 LEDs cost $10.49, and the other costs $12.59. What?s cool about this led strip is that it comes with a wireless controller, so I can switch the speed, the mode, the brightness, and the colors remotely. Since the whole strip is only 1 meter long, which is approximately 40 inches, it can be perfectly used for decorating your computer or your tv with it. I?ll put this strip around the computer in my bedroom to give the room a bit of mood lighting. This will be great when I use my computer in the dark.

LED grow light for plants

This Lamp is also from Coolo. These LED lights are good for plants growing inside your house. If you grow tomatoes or some herbs inside your home, you can provide lightning for them that help them grow. You can set the lamp to emit red light, which promotes flowering or blue light that accelerates the growth of the leaves. This lamp comes in three sizes. You can select the smallest one, which includes 60 LEDs. The middle one, which is made up of 126 LEDs, and the biggest one, which includes 200 LEDs. I ordered the middle one, and I?ll use it to help the tomatoes grow. Gleco also offers a similar lamp to grow plants inside the house. I ordered that one as well, and I?ll use it to grow basils. I?m very excited to see which one will grow faster, the tomatoes or the basils.

Portable Night Light Table Lamp with Fluorescent Message Board

Now, this item is super cool. It?s also from Coolo, just like the two previous Lamps. This product is a led lamp with a transparent board on it. You can write or draw on this transparent board with the included pen. You can easily fold this lamp, and its head can be rotated in 360 degrees. The lamp is 16.52-inch-tall, and the board is 5.11 wide. The cable is 47.2 inches long. You can also adjust the brightness of the lamp. There are 100% bright, 50% bright, and 10% bright options. The pen that is included in the package has ink at one end, and an eraser at the other end. The lamp comes in three colors, which are pink, green, and blue. I selected the blue one.

Pineapple shape solar light

This light is from Gleco Official Store. I love this item because it?s so unique and fun. The whole lamp is waterproof so you can put it outside, and you don?t have to worry about rain. There are solar panels on the top, so it works with solar power, which is very eco-friendly. The light includes 20 LEDs with 10-12 working hours. I chose this light because I think it?ll look great in my backyard.

Mosquito killer lamp

I?m sure most of us know how annoying mosquitos are. Imagine sitting outside in your backyard or at your balcony at dawn, and suddenly you are surrounded by thousands of mosquitos. There are some ways you can keep mosquitos away, like sprays or special candles. I decided to try this lamp because I?m very curious, also I hate mosquitos so much. This lamp has no smell, and it uses no chemicals. You can use it both inside your house or outside in your garden.

Smart Light Bulb

This led light bulb can change color. But how can a light bulb be smart? You can control it using your voice or using an app. It works with Alexa, Google Assistant, Tuya, or Smart Life APP. I?ve always wanted to ask Alexa to change my lighting blue. I ordered two of these bulbs because I?d like to put one in the living room and one in my bedroom. It?ll perfect when I invite some friends over.

Underwater LED lights

This little LED light is also super amazing. It?s completely waterproof so you can put the lamp underwater. It?s perfect for decorating aquariums, pools, Jacuzzis, or baths. It comes with a remote controller so you can easily change the color of the lights, the brightness, and you can also set a timer. I?ll put this lamp in my pool, and I?m excited to have a nice night swim with this cool light on.

Music Control Led Strip

This LED strip is perfect for those who occasionally have parties at their homes. The color of the strip changes with the rhythm of the music. This light can turn your home into a club. The length of the strip is 5 meters, which is approximately 197 inches. I'll put this strip up on the top of the walls in my living room.

USB LED strip for TV background light

This is very similar to the first led strip that I reviewed, however, this one comes in three different lengths. But what really cool about this led light is that when you put it around your tv, it synchronizes with the screen. You can easily connect the strip and your tv with a USB cable. Then, the strip starts emitting lights, which are the same color as the colors displayed on your tv screen. You can see a demo video and some images on how this works on AliExpress.

Other decoration ideas

Since I bought too many items, I finished shopping now. However, I found other amazing products. I found a super cool, modern, and colorful LED standing lamp, which would be a perfect decoration of any room in the house.

Wooden lamps

If you love nature, you'll love the wooden lamps I came across that resemble real trees. Also, there are cool Wolf table lamps, which give a feeling as if I were in the wilderness. If you?re into sailing and boats, I found an incredible retro lamp that is made up of a knot. For those who love candles, I brought some European style and other wooden candle holders, which are perfect for decorating your home. Also, these candle holders could be amazing Christmas decorations.

Unique light bulbs and lamps

The next thing I?ll buy is the flame led light bulb. It?s like a regular light bulb, but it has flame-like shapes inside it. Another favorite item of mine is the foldable leaf lamp with adjustable brightness. It has three ?leaves? that can be folded. The whole lamp is like a flower that closes its petals. Another useful item is the UV germicidal bulb that can be used to disinfect your home.

Wall lamps

While I was browsing AliExpress, I saw wonderful wall lamps as well. If you loved the African wildlife feeling of The Lion King, you?ll love this wall lamp that displays elephants and those cool African trees that you could see in the movie. The next wall lamp is again a very useful product. It combines a wall lamp and a USB charger with a little shelf. It?s perfect for charging your phone at night. If you love modern style, you might be interested in the next wall lamp. This one is a square that has lighting edges and two shelves on both sides. You can put plants on these shelves, photo frames, or anything you?d like to decorate your home with. I also came across with amazing lamps that look like smaller or bigger crystals, lamps that have the Eiffel Tower inside them, and other strange shaped but very modern lamps.

Table lamps

I found plenty of unique table lamps for example lamps in different shapes like hearts or rings, glass lamps, wooden lamps that look like a folded leader, iron lamps that have tree-like motives, wooden ring lamps, or if you love extreme things, you?ll love the lamp that is held in the beak of a raven sculpture.

For kids

As a little boy, I always dreamt of having a huge airplane above my bed as a lamp. Now, some little boy's dream can come true with this cool lamp. Another cute lamp I found is like the house in the movie titled Up! This lamp consists of a house that is lifted by some balloons. Finally, a super nice lamp for kids? rooms is one with a cloud and a sun.

All in all,

AliExpress is THE place where you can find anything. This time I decided to boost my home with a bit of unique lightning. I ordered some amazing lamps, cool led stripes, and unique light bulbs to decorate the different rooms and the backyard of my house. I also collected some other cool gadgets for DIY lightning, including wooden lamps, unique light bulbs, wall lamps, table lamps, and some amazing lamps for children. The great thing about AliExpress is that it?s affordable, so you don?t have to pay huge amounts of money to purchase some super-cool, amazing, useful, or unique stuff for your home.
