Highlights:

With two victories at the 28th Critics Choice Awards, SS Rajamouli’s RRR is continuing to represent India with pride. A ceremony in Los Angeles awarded the Film Best Foreign Language Film and Best Song for the well-known song Naatu Naatu. A video of MM Keeravaani’s acceptance speech was also released on the RRR’s official Twitter account along with the news. “Naatu Naatu Again!! Extremely delighted to share that we won the #CriticsChoiceAwards for the BEST SONG #RRRMovie Here’s @mmkeeravaani’s acceptance speech!!” read the caption.
The RRR composer can be heard saying in the video, “Thank you so much I am very overwhelmed with this award. I am here to receive this wonderful award by the critics. Thank you all the critics, on behalf of my chorographer, lyrics writer, my singers, my programmers and of course my director.”

Earlier, the Critics Choice Awards’ post praising RRR for winning the Best Foreign Language Film was reposted on the official Twitter account of RRR. The post read, “Congratulations to the cast and crew of @RRRMovie – winners of the #criticschoice Award for Best Foreign Language Film. #CriticsChoiceAwards.”

Ram Charan and Jr. NTR’s role in SS Rajamouli’s epic film RRR has taken the world by storm. The film has previously been nominated for Best Original Song and Best Non-English Language Film at the 80th Golden Globe Awards. Naatu Naatu, a song composed by MM Keeravaani, took home the award for Best Song out of two. In addition, the composer was honoured on Saturday with the Los Angeles Film Critics Association’s Best Music Core Award (LAFCA).

Based on the lives of two Telugu freedom fighters, Komaram Bheem (played by Jr NTR) and Alluri Seetharama Raju (played by Ram Charan). Pivotal roles in the film were also played by Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Alison Doody, Ray Stevenson, and Olivia Morris.
