Official: 2 More Seasons of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Coming to ABCCatch a Marathon to see ‘ The Rise of Skywalker ‘

To celebrate the tenth episode in the Star Wars saga AMC will host a 27-hour and twenty-one-minute marathon of the first nine movies in the saga culminating in a Star Wars screening: The Rise of Skywalker. The AMC marathon will last from 18th of December through 20th of December. Skywalker’s Rise will be screened around 5 p.m. 20 December. Which means those watching the screening will get to see the movie one hour before the rest of the audience. In addition to the excitement of seeing Collider the advertised duration of the marathon, everyone who attends the screenings will go home with a collectible blanket and pin means that there will be intermissions between the films-a great idea given the length of the marathon. 4/4.788 4/4.788 Obviously this marathon is a huge undertaking. Very few fans will be happy to spend so much time watching a collectible blanket from the Star Wars marathon, or no collectible blanket. Since people attending the marathon will only be able to see the film slightly before everyone else many fans do not see the commitment as worthwhile. For others Disney magic will be a Star Wars marathon on the big screen.

Which ‘ Star Wars ‘ Films Will Be Part of the Marathon

4/4.789 4/4.789 Polygon noted that not all films in the Star Wars saga will be included in this marathon only films in the Skywalker saga, the word used by Disney to describe Episode I through Episode X. Rogue One and Solo: A Star Wars Story will not be screened as part of this marathon for two recent Star Wars films which fall out of the Skywalker Saga. Neither will the Star Wars TV movies trio – The Star Wars Holiday Special Courage Caravan: An Ewok Adventure or Ewoks: The Fight for Endor which appears to be forgotten by fans of the franchise. The only animated film based on the saga of Star Wars-Star Wars: The Clone Wars-is not going to be part of the marathon. Star Wars fans have been debating in recent years what order the Star Wars movies should be viewed in. Many fans refer to watching the movies in the order they were released while others watch the movies in the order they occur. So far, the order in which the Star Wars movies will be shown at this marathon is uncertain, except for the fact that The Rise of Skywalker will last be screened.
