The group members are idiotic and stupid, and they get into scandalous positions that are all the more funny as they realize that many real rock stars think the movie hits a bit too close to home. From the amp that goes to 11 to being lost backstage to the incorrectly built version of Stonehenge to the series of insane deaths that strike the band’s drummers, this film smashes the godly aura that surrounds the world’s biggest rock stars without ever naming them. Songs such as Tonight I m Gon na Rock You Tonight are both parodies and shining examples of the parodying cock rock Spinal Tap. Does this list lack your favorite fake band?
