Singer Willy Paul has on Monday been arrested after police visited his home in Syokimau as details surrounding his dramatic arrest coming to light.
Speaking to the media Caroline Giseve, the lawyer representing Diana Bahati revealed that the singer had been arrested over cyberbullying.
She continued by saying that his arrest follows failure to honour court summons in the case that had been filed three years ago.

“Investigations were conducted, and the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions authorized Willy Paul’s arrest,” she said
“Despite numerous summonses, Willy Paul failed to appear, leading to his arrest on Monday morning.” she continued
On Monday, Willy Paul caused a stir on social media when he said that if anything happens to him, then the police should be held calpable. “If something happens to me, know that people in uniform are involved,” he said
In 2021 Pozee alleged that he had been in a relationship with Diana, allegations that did not seat well with Diana who moved to court to sue him.
Willy Paul is expected to appear in court on Tuesday.
