Several people are feared dead after a bus belonging to Tahmeed was involved in an accident with an Oil Tanker at Mundika, Busia County.
The impact of the collision was so bad that a fire exploded engulfing both the tanker and the bus as local rushed to the scene.

“Following a head-on collision involving an oil tanker and a PSV Bus at Mundika junction in Busia County, response teams have been deployed to the scene, including the County Fire Brigade and Red Cross Action team. Ongoing efforts are underway as fire has erupted as a consequence of the collision,” said Red Cross.
Confirming the incident was Busia Senator Okiya Omtatah who condoled with the family and friends of the deceased.
“It is with shock and disbelief that I have received the sad news of the tragic road accident between an oil tanker and a PSV bus bound for Mombasa at Mundika area I extend my deepest condolences to the families and friends. My thoughts are now with the victims & their families.” said Omtatah
