Suspect in the murder of Emma Wanyota found guilty

Eldoret High Court has found Mustafa Idd the prime Suspect in the murder of Emma Wanyotta guilty of the offence.

Issuing the verdict was Judge Reuben Nyakundi who noted that Mustafa Idd was guilty of killing the Vera Beauty College student back in September 2019.

Emma was brutally killed as her body was found with missing body parts. It is alleged that she may have been raped and her limbs chopped off before she was found in her home.

Speaking after the incident was the victims sister Sheila Wanyotta who confirmed that the suspect was well known in the family and that he was her sisters boyfriend.

After the lovers parted ways, Idd would threaten people close to Emma Wanyota including direct phone call threats after taking their numbers from her mobile phone.

“After parting ways with my sister in August, he has been threatening her and also all the male contacts in her phonebook,” said Sheila
