Three people have been arrested for Stealing drugs from one of the health facilities in Nairobi County as revealed on Tuesday.
The three were arrested by a team of police officers who were acting on a tip-off before arresting them in possession of the essential goods.
Speaking after the news, Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja said that the three will serve as an example to others and that implementation of HMIS will strengthen vigilance.

“After a tip-off yesterday, these thugs were caught this morning stealing a van full of drugs from one of our facilities. These ones will be an example to the others who have been stealing what’s meant for the people. As we implement our HMIS, we are strengthening vigilance.” Said Governor Sakaja
The police who were questioning the three revealed how the drugs stolen from Nairobi were heading to Murang’a County for sale.
The news also comes at a time when Kisii County also arrested one nurse connected to the illegal sale of drugs from public facilities in an attempt to make profits.
