LGBTQ activist Edwin Chiloba killed, body dumped in Eldoret

Edwin Chiloba, a model and LGBTQ activist has been found dead and his body dumped along the Kipenyo-Katinga Road in Uasin Gishu County.

The lifeless body of Edwin was found stashed in a metallic box by bodaboda operators who then alerted the police who responded to the news.

Upon arriving at the scene, the police found the body of Chiloba dressed in a woman’s clothes before taking it to the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital pending postmortem to establish the cause of death.

Edwin Chiloba is well known in Eldoret for being open about his sexuality and even moving around in women’s clothing. He is also well known for sharing photos on social media.

The last time he was seen on social media was when he was partying with a number of his friends dressed in the same outfit he was found with along the roadside.

According to media reports, Chiloba was dumped by a numberless vehicle that left immediately. Kenyans have taken to social media to condemn the murder linking it to his sexuality.
