President William Ruto has fully supported the move by Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja to close nightclubs within residential areas.
Speaking on Monday, the Head of State called on the Governor to keep the noise away from children and that he has his full support.

The closure of nightclubs in Nairobi follows complaints by Kenyans and concerned parents over the loud noises renting the air from such places.
They further complained about the kind of business being conducted at the joints ranging from indecent dress codes to the use of drugs.
Kenyans have now called on the Nairobi Governor to lead another operation targeting churches and mosques reported to be making noises in some areas.
Videos circulating on social media revealed armed police officers raiding some of the joints ordering them to close of face the full force of the law.
