Outgoing Kesses MP Mishra denies withdrawing scholarships

Outgoing Kesses Member of Parliament (MP) Mishra Swarup Kiprop has denied allegations that he has withdrawn scholarships for 300 students in the constituency.

Taking on social media, Mr. Mishra termed the allegations as disinformation campaigns as he confirms that the program is still ongoing contrary to the allegations.

“For the past one week, the social media has been awash with FAKE NEWS that I have withdrawn scholarships for 300 Students from Kesses Constituency. I urge you all to disregard the rumors, FAKE NEWS & sophisticated disinformation campaigns being peddled across-board.

The Legislator who has been a darling of many in the area was toppled by Julius Ruto of UDA thanks to the strong political wave the party had in the just concluded general election.
