Arsenal left-back Nuno Tavares is set to French giants Olympique Marseille on loan with medical tests for the player set for Friday 29th July 2022.
Both Marseille and Arsenal have agreed on a no-buy option for the player who has been considered as one for the future.
“Nuno Tavares’ set to Join Olympique Marseille, medical tests on Friday. Arsenal and OM have full agreement on a loan deal, no buy option included. Final check to the contracts in the afternoon then it will be signed. Here we go.” Said Fabrizio Romano

Tavares becomes the first team player to depart the club at a time when they disclosed plans to offload players whose contribution is not needed in the coming season.
Even though Kieran Tierney has been in and out with injuries, the Gunners succeeded to win the signature of Zinchenko from rivals Manchester City who is the preferred player for the position.
The Gunners will focus on bringing in more signings as confirmed by both Edu and Mikel Arteta. Some of the positions in consideration include a midfielder and winger.
