Three security personnel attached to Kisii Gubernatorial candidate Manson Oyongo’s have passed away following a grisly Accident at Riobonyo area near Nyangusu.
The accident is reported to have occurred after the Probox car they were in lost control before rolling several times killing the three as two others sustained serious injuries and are currently fighting for their lives.
Confirming the incident was Kisii sub-county traffic commander Daniel Ochieng who said the driver of the Probox was overspeeding before the accident occurred.

After the accident, one person died on the spot as two others succumbed while receiving treatment. In total five people were injured as a result of the accident.
A manhunt has however been launched to arrest the driver who is reported to have gone missing afterwards.
According to the party officials, the incident happened after the driver tried to avoid hitting a boda boda rider.
At that time, the security details was heading towards a funeral at in Magenche, Bomachoge Borabu. The vehicle was ahead of that of the candidate when the accident occurred.
