The remarks have seen Kenyans taking on social media calling on the Education CS to apologize over the remarks terming the statement as ethnic profiling.
“If the Minister of Education in Germany made such a vile ethnic profiling remark towards a journalist he or she would resign or be fired within hours and Kenyans on Twitter who now say “this was on a light note” would be the loudest. And that is why things are the way they are!” Said Dr. John Njega
“Got the video! CS Magoha should be ashamed of himself. This is typical profiling. Because the young woman was in a hijab you retort to such a repugnant outburst? NTV Kenya should be demanding an apology from this octogenarian who is out of touch!” Said Ahmed Mohamed
