Plane carrying eight Azimio leaders crashes at Kakuma airstrip

Eight political leader from the Azimio la Umoja camp have survived an accident after a plane they were in crash landed at Kakuma Airstrip in Turkana County.

An image of the plane revealed the extent of the crash even though it did have any dents to suggest a very rough landing as expected of a crash.

The unidentified leaders proceeded with their journey where they joined Azimio la Umoja presidential candidate Raila Odinga to campaign in the region.

Speaking at the rally, the former Prime Minister called on residents to elect him as the next president promising a better economy as well as security in an area well known for attacks.

Hon. Raila has already promised a monthly Ksh 6,000 stipend to needy households in the country as he confidently confirmed assured Kenyans he knows exactly where he can get the money due to his experience in the government.

His opponents have downplayed the promise accusing the former Prime Minister of playing politics that he will not deliver. They further faulted him for the ongoing economic difficulties in the country following his famous handshake with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
