The resignation of Kenyatta University Vice-Chancellor has taken a new twist as students are planning to hold demonstrations on Wednesday.
Speaking to Nation, Kenyatta University Students Association (Kusa) president Moses Ngigi noted that they have mobilized fellow students who will meet at the University entrance for the demonstration.
According to Ngigi, they are against the ongoing developments including the recent one funded by World Health Organization (WHO) and those that came before including Africa Centre for Disease Control and KUTRRH.

Even though a big population of the students is away, Mr. Ngigi confirmed that they will be joined by medicine, nursing, pharmacy, architecture, and engineering students who have ongoing classes.
The Kenyatta University Students Association President alleges that as students they do not benefit in any way from the construction of KUTRRH as medical students are referred to Thika and Kiambu hospitals for training.
Paul Wainaina troubles
Troubles for outgoing Kenyatta University VC began days ago after President Uhuru Kenyatta promised to act swiftly and effectively following delays in the WHO project at the university grounds.
The Head of State noted that the land belongs to the State and that development projects are meant to benefit Kenyans.
President Uhuru continued by saying that Kenya cannot operate independently but instead needs outside collaboration that will bring developments that will also benefit Africa as a whole.
The President accused Mr. Paul Wainaina of holding on to the WHO project claiming the land is his when it actually belongs to the government.
