Bernard Ndong: Citizen TV sports news anchor quits

Popular Citizen TV Sports News Anchor Bernard Ndong has on Saturday parted way with the media company ending his 13 years stay with them.

Ndong hosted his last show with Citizen TV before he was treated to a farewell party by his colleagues at the station.

Among the speakers was fellow sports anchor Mike Okinyi who noted how quickly Bernard Ndong developed to become a household name in the industry.

“It was three weeks of hard training, back and forth and when I sent the clip to our then boss Farida Karoney she said I take you for sports. You have developed to be one of the strongest people I have worked with. Farewells are never easy and we wish you all the best,” Said Mike Okinyi

Other speakers of the day was prime News Anchor Waihiga Mwaura who remembered his friendship journey with Ndong during official duties.

““You are a brother, you know the journey we started together 13 years ago. I remember when we went out for this trip and there was nowhere to sleep, I slept on a table you slept on a chair. That is how our friendship built up.” Said Waihiga Mwaura

Fellow sports news anchor Mukami Wambora and Francis Gachuri spoke highly of Ndong as they wished him all the best in his future endevours.
