Prosecution has on Thursday presented three witnesses in the ongoing of former Rongo University student Sharon Otieno’s Murder Trial.
Harun Diero who is a clinician at Rachuonyo Hospital confirmed that Kendu Bay OCS Boniface Khamisi brought in a male client together with five police officers on 3/9/2018.
The patient whose name has been protected confirmed to Diero that he had jumped out of a moving vehicle after he had been hijacked together with a female companion by people he knows very well.

“Prosecution today presented 3 witnesses in Sharon Otieno & Unborn Baby Sharon murder trial. Harun Diero Clinician at Rachuonyo Hospital said on the night of 3/9/2018 OCS Kendu Bay Boniface Khamisi with 5 police officers brought in a male patient.
Diero testified that the patient (protected witness) informed him that he had jumped out of a moving vehicle after being abducted together with a female companion, by people known to him from Rongo. He sustained soft tissue injuries on both palms & knees.” Said ODPP
Two police Constables confirmed before the court that on that night they had received a call from the OCS to go to attend to a man who had been abducted and later released at Kadel Police Station.
“Police Constables Oletunai Birgen & Roimen Leselel both of Kendu Bay Police Station testified that on the night of 3/9/2018 received calls from OCS Khamisi to go attend to a man who had reportedly been abducted & later rescued at Kadel Police Station.
Hearings continue on 7th, 9th & 10th March, 2022 before Lady Justice, Cecilia Gitua. Prosecution led by SADPP, Catherine Mwaniki, has about 20 more witnesses to present before court.” Said ODPP
